anybody else receiving rings with this telephone no.?

this is the magazine book club looking to renew a old subscription form almost 5yrs ago!

keeps on phoning our mobile- WTF are they?

informed 'em never ever to contact us again last year soon after I broke up or we would take legal action. . these people continued sending books to our home long soon after we cancelled our membership with them, followed swiftly by a invoice for extortionate amounts. . these people pretty much stalk us now & we get 2 rings daily.

had the ring with this no. however did not recognise at all who this was? Looks just like spam!

began receiving rings the other day. never ever heard of 'em & cannot believe where these people had our no. with

three to four rings a day with this no., eventually picked up & these people stated these people were with Mills & Boon ! informed 'em we was not interested however he insisted on speaking to me, informed 'em again not interested & he seemed surprised at which point we put the phone down !

we too am having everyday rings with this no.. when anybody knows how to get 'em to quit we would be really grateful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a telesales firm ( Tele Focus LTD) who make rings on behalf of a no. of clients, with Utilities companies. Communications Companies. Marketing & catalogue companies etc, these people get ur no. with bought ring data lists, which are gathered together with any rings or enquieries you make to companies. when you hope to be taken off their ring lists you want to ring 'em on 08005427032and request to be taken off their database.

Thank god we read this page. they have been phoning us at all hours. sunday night Saturday lunch time. we do not pick these no.s up however occassionally we make a inadvertant slip up. I will have tomake sure we do not with this one.

Spoke to a LYN GILMORE at TELEFOCUS in BEDFORD 08005427032 who assurred us that our no. would be removed. he provided us a long directory of clients that use them, Hotel chocolate, mills & boon, coin collections, & others. . Telefocus dont wash the lists with TPS, the lists are gave by their clients. . stated that "it is the clients responsibility" not theirs!Anyone recognise when that is true? That feels wrong.
