when you send 'em a seize & distist letter, these people legally must quit phoning. There are federal laws(fdcpa) that outline exaclty exactly what these people can & cant do. soon after these people get the mail to quit ringing, & these people still call, you've full rights to sue them. . normally anywhere with 3-5thousand bucks to settle. most collection companies have a inhouse lawyer cos companies just like this get sued constantly. good luck
