these people rang us to confirm charges on our Visa. we believe these people attempted to ring us once before too. these people already was aware of the last 4 digits to our visa credit card, yet needed to stress that we have our card no. available soon as we rang 'em back. we looked at our online balance & all the recent charges did not look suspicious at all. This was surely a con.

This is NOT a con. it is a Visa scam check line. we used our bank check card online, & these people ended up leaving a msg on our picking up machine looking to confirm the transaction. Before we rang back, we checked with our bank. these people reported this line as a contracted service line for Visa scam protection.

we tried to make a online payment 3-4x this afternoon that didnt go through (I believe cos of our zip code recently changing). we received a message to ring back. The recorded system wants you to put in ur card no., however we hit "0" to talk with a live individual to ease our concern of fraud. The man we talked to requested three questions to confirm small pieces of information. & confirmed that this is us attempting to make the online payments. We are comfortable in that this firm was legit.

got a ring June 17,2008. these people were verifying that I got used my VISA card at a gas station. I got swiped this 3x. Reader on gas pump is faulty, & the man inside the store could not work the reader in there. we rang 'em back & these people would not speak to us since this is our partner's name on the card. Once these people spoke with him, subsequently We are allowed to speak to them. we confirmed the 1 actual transaction & this is ok. This was a legit no.

This number is for Visa Fraud Protection on behalf of the Golden1 Credit Union. I called Golden1 and they verified that 1-800-624-7486 does, in fact, belong to Visa Fraud Protection. If you've received a call from this number, they are calling for your protection and likely stemmed from a transaction you, or someone else, made that is outside of your normal spending habits. Ignoring this call may result in your card being unusable. Again, this is for your financial protection.

This number keeps calling me. I am getting sick of being harassed. I asked the woman how to get off of the call list and she said "lower your interest rates". I said that I dont have a credit card. She then said I must not be telling the truth. She then asked who I lived with, I told her my THREE year old (who would not have a credit card). I then asked to speak to her manager, she put me on "hold" and then i had a disconnection tone LOUDLY ringing in my ear. What a PROFESSIONAL!!! It will not let you call the number back and speak to someone, it says their voicemail is full. If this is so "legit", why was I hung up on, and not able to talk to her supervisor?!
