1st ring with 865-684-1990 is this afternoon. we checked this out, & these people are a collection company with the Knoxville, TN area. . StarMD, Inc. Ithink was exactly what the recorded message stated soon as we rang them.

we happen to be receiving rings with 'em also. The 1st ring normally comes in around 8:15 a. m. we had two rings with 'em earlier today 1st one is at 8:15 a. m. (my telephone only called two times) & the last ring earlier today is at 5:54 p. m. (my telephone only called three times). exactly what can I do to get these rings to stop? our telephone number was not published in the telephone book.

This company is StarMD Inc. They call from a set of different numbers for the Knoxville, Tn. and surrounding areas mostly for medical bills such as hospital bills. It seems most of their business comes from the company that owns the St. Mary's chain of hospitals as well as Methodist Medical Centers. They have a negative rating with the BBB, but I don't see a bill collection agency getting a good rating from the public.
