1998-106-9899. these people rang our mobile telephone pretending that we rang them. we looked at the history & we did not even have the no. on our mobile. . this was a con however not sure why.

got two rings on our mobile & three rings on our house telephone on 11/1. we did not know the no. 998-106-9899 therefore we didnt reply this & these people didnt pass on a msg.

got ring with 998 106 9899 approx 10:30 am on Nov 12th. A man with a strong "new Joisy" accent ended up leaving a msg about somebody owing them money. Used profanity at the end. Some kinda con going on.

we received a telephone ring on 12/28/07 looking for our partner by name. we requested who is phoning & the person calling provided a name & stated that she is in Casamel, Mexico & there is a mix-up with her luggage & our husband's. our partner is in my kitchen, not was Casamel. he is never ever been to Casamel. The man asked, "So ur partner is not here in Casamel? & we stated "no". subsequently she stated "Oh, OK" & put the phone down.

got ring on our mobile twenty seconds ago with the above no. No msg. we do have a associate in Mexico now however she would pass on a msg when phoning all the way with Mexico.

got a ring on 1/7/08 about ten seconds ago. soon as we requested the person's same. she stated "wrong no. sorry to bother you.

had a ring with the identical no., had a v-mail with a woman, really fuzzy. May happen to be our GF who is in Cancun, however we could not tell. The "mexico" refs above made us believe this might happen to be her.

Looked this up on the int'l region code & found this is out of Cancun. when you search engine this no. this takes you to a website reporting this no. being linked with a web con. attempted to ring this back which ends in the "this no. was no longer in service" msg. We are reporting this no. to donotcall. gov as We are supposed to be on this directory.

Turned out this is our GF & he is phoning with his own mobile in Cancun. Just had a sms with his a few min soon after the ring.

we accidentally rang our buddy & she was currently in Cancuon mexico. we believe she attempted to ring us back on the hotel phone. This telephone no. came with the hotel that our buddy was staying at in Cancoun Mexico.

a women rang making use of this no. he is asking to talk to his son.

Just had a ring with there. our parents are in Cancun & these people rang us with their mobile phone. we believe this was the no. that comes up with American phone's in Mexico! :-) Not a fraud!

Thank you, we believe this is our girl that rang however we couldnt hear anyone. he got been in Cuba during the hurricane. Hopefully that no. means he made this back as far as Mexico.

So, we believed we would look this up on the web & this verified this is a ring with Cancun where our girl was at as we write this msg. Too many ppl realized their ring is with there & confirms to us that this is indeed not a collection agency. wish our girl & boyfrend are having a great time there. We are therefore jealous!
