I received a msg with this no. as well. I couldnt very grasp the msg as the English is really broken however exactly what we gathered is that when I did not ring instantly some security access would be denied. we took this to be some kind of con.

had a ring with some man at this no. she stated we tried to take out a loan or owe money for a loan. we informed them we didnt recognise exactly what the hell she is speaking about & she put the phone down.

we got a telephone ring with a guy with a foreign accent stating she is contacting us cos We are used as a reference for somebody that we did not know. This was surely some kind of scam, i am just concerned about how this man was aware of our no. & name, since this was not listed.

we had a ring with 213-784-1637. The region code was downtown LA. she got a thick foreign accent therefore we could hardly grasp the identity of the firm she stated (maybe "Lansing/Jacob"). A big tip-off that this may be a con was that she stated her name is Mr. Anderson (not a typical Eastern name). she ended up leaving a 1-888 no. as a ring back & a supposed reference no. it is definately not Kosher. There were a lot of voices in the back ground as well. . i am concerned cos this is on our mobile.
