Just had a sms with this no. that says: "Wachovia Alert: ur card starting with **** has been deactivated. Please contact me at 214-432-4462 to reactivate. " when you ring the no., this calls a couple of times subsequently disconnects. we recognise it is a con particularly since this lists the 1st four digits of the credit card no. & not the last 4, since that is exactly what every one else does.

got this msg also. according to google, it is a fax number with a this firm in Irving, TX rang "Evincesys". i have never ever heard of 'em however the con needs to cease!

This fax no. is with the firm you mentioned. BUT, I cancelled the account (in November 2009) & VONAGE (our telephone company) provided this no. to some other person. This scam was under scrutiny by police right now.
