we happen to be receiving several rings that hang-up on picking up machine. we eventually *69ed this & had this no.. 518-242-8975. we think we signed on to the dont ring directory.

it is 2:37 & the telephone rings. we pick up, hear nothing however exactly what may be breathing, & we put the phone down *69 tells us the ring was 518-242-8975. we ring this back & it is Time Warner Cable Sales. these people are randomly dialing as a courtesy to ask how ur service is. we asked our no. be deleted with their roster, & Ida is really pleasant, agreed to delete the no., & apologized for the annoyance.

this no. keeps on phoning our mobile telephone incessantly early in the afternoon, late at night, & soon as i am at work. bothers to leave no msg. soon as we answer we hear somebody breathing for about six minutes & subsequently these people put the phone down really annoying & creepy.

FYI: This issue was on-going. Just had a ring with 'em with no one at the other end. it is 9pm. we do not believe these people care about the times in which these people ring. these people should atleast have the decency to speak. . not hang up!

identical thing. . several rings (about every hour, sometimes more often), & half the time bothers to leave a msg saying, "Hello? Hello? Hello?" Once rang with a 866 no., according to *69 (I do not have person calling ID). we checked the 800 no. here once, & this stated American HEart Association. Time Warner or the TU mkes more sense. .

The person calling was Time-Warner Cable. this doesnt matter when you're on the national do Not ring directory when you're their customer. these people can ring you. we just turn on our picking up machine. these people never ever get a chance to pass on a msg. soon as the current cable promotion has ended, the rings will stop. . until the next promotion!

i have got rings with this no. daily for the past two days. these people have to believe we do not work, as the rings are often during the day. we just ignore the rings cos we do not want a single thing else with them. TW screws me on cable rates & these people are just out for the almighty dollar. these people can keep on phoning until the cows come house however we wont answer. IGNORE IGNORE IGNORE!!!!!!

we have got three or four rings this weekend with "Time Warner Cbl 242-8975" according to our Calling-ID. soon as we reply the calls, we hear the "fax song" at the other end. we never ever here a voice. we rang Time Warner to lodge a complain & we went onto their site & lodged a e-mail complain with their national sales organization.

us too. 8:59 pm, random call, no msg. . states Time Warner Cable & the identical telephone no. (242-8975). we are on a dont ring directory. This was the identical no. that, on any given day, will ring up to 5 times during the day. we swear these people only ring soon as we have the tv on, making us really uncomfortable with whatever monitoring these people are doing.

this was time warner cable. these people rang the other evening at nine pm as a "courtesy call" to make sure We are satisfied with our service. Since we stated yes, We are confused why these people keep on phoning. we will be phoning 'em later & looking 'em to cease & desist!!Or we will cancel all our services with them. wish that does the trick.

we also got numerous rings with this #, we rang back & these people stated these people happen to be having technical problems with their auto dialer, which is why this was silent & hangs up. We are now on their own dont ring directory, these people say this can take 72 hours for this to take effect

Yeah it is Time Warner Cable, normally wanting you to sign up for house telephone or cable, or whatever service of theirs you do not have yet. we attempted to explain to 'em that we do not need another phone, since we already have a mobile (the one these people got just rang us on), yet these people do not seem to get the hint. Just ignore this, these people will give up soon after a few weeks.

Yes, to agree with everybody else this was Time Warner doing sales calls. we work for a business in this region with atleast 500 no.s (extensions) & have recived over 100 telephone rings in the past hour alone with Time Warner. Each time these people apologize cos these people are only trying to ring residences however their automatic ring directory was dialing ALL of my 500 numbers! this was insanity here.
