This was a ring centre raising money for "firefighters" burn funds. these people are paid telemarketers (not volunteers), & are quite agressive. I donated a couple of years ago & now these people continuously telephone. I keep on informing 'em NO, however these people just get another individual to telephone in a day or two. . this has turned us off donating to anyone by phone.

we managed to reply our own question:. The *60 does work, just differently with above (for me, at least). soon as we dial this we get a voice menu system, & since we did this right soon after one of these rings we could just press #01# & this is added automatically. . we wish this works.

we rang Telus at 310-1000 which was the privacy line & requested 'em to block the ring. Telus verified that this was a telesales firm. Telus will contact the marketing firm & ask that ur no. be taken off the directory & the firm has thirty weeks to comply. For anybody that was bothered by the no. of rings with 604-630-5010, we highly recommend making the ring to Telus.

identical here, only 3 times had somebody on the phone line. Once somebody asking for money for the Firefighters & 2 different ladies asking for 2 different people. Not to mention the 13-15 rings of dead air. really irritating.
