This was valid, we rang the main Fidelity no. with some old paperwork & this was a legit email. when you're afraid of the no. in the e-mail search engine Fidelity lookup the customer support no. on the webpage for employer sponsered plans. Mine was with a refund with a 401k loan overpayment we got made soon as we paid the loan off. it is only $53 however it is nice surprise. we believed this is bogus however it is not!

we agree on the surface this looks funny however we did as the other poster did & rang Fidelity directly with some old paperwork we got & think this or not we got a uncashed check for $53 with a overpayment on a 401k loan we got with 2005. when you had this e-mail & are skeptable of the no. just search engine Fidelity & ring 'em directly.

Hey bronc4x,. exactly what a liar! it is not real & you recognise it! The email was therefore bad. The color choice was wrong. . these people have some silly "tm" line that fidelity does not even use. And, the dead giveaway, "log into ur NetBenefits. com" page. Well, when you were not a 19 year old boy in Romania you might recognise that there is not any such thing. bronc4x should be investigated!. ciao

it is not fake. We are therefore cautious & grilled the woman before we provided out our name, birthday employer & zip. subsequently he informed us the accounts we got & indeed, a 401K we got attempted to track down in 2004 however could not got eventually found it is way back to us. hope we could have rolled this over back then, however hey, whatever. $1400 in our pocket today. Yay!

we did not wanna ring the no. with the email, therefore we rang thru our employer benifits dept. & got 'em connect us with a Fidelity rep. & we did have a old uncashed check with Fadelity. when you feel uneasy about making use of the no. in the email, contact 'em thru ur employer.

look you idiots, just because the phone number is in the email and when you call them the answering machine says Fidelity doesn't mean it's legit. It means it's bullshit. What's the 1st question they ask? What is your SS#? bingo shoot score!!! Now these creeps have access to your Fidelity Account. Hope there wasn't much in there because for that piddly ass 50 dollar check you got, (you did get the check right?) they have now cleaned you out. Congratulations Morons.

Called Fidelity's customer support directly and they confirmed it was not a legitimate phone number. Scammers did a pretty good making this look legit. If you google the number, a legit fidelity 'Contact Us' page with a bunch of phone numbers shows up, but that the number isn't listed on the page because it's not legit. Earlier comments are likely planted by scammers. If you want to be safe you can always just call a known Fidelity phone number to see if anything's going on.
