On 3/3/2010, got a post card offering three day/2 evening stay at on of Hilton's many locations for two adults including two round-trip airline tickets to fly anywhere in the contiguous U. S. The only way to figure out how to get the Hilton getaway is to ring 1-800-741-5937 within 48 hours of receipt of the post card. . B. T. Barnum stated this best "there's a sucker born every minute" do not be a sucker--never ring back on scams just like this.

had the identical postcard, identical telephone no., only with the Marriott logo on this. The idea is that, despite the large Marriott logo, the fine print states "this promotion was not sponsored by or affiliated with Marriott. " That states "scam" to us.

OK. soon after not much research, we rang & cancelled my reservation for the presentation. Y'all were correct. . it is a con. search engine "travel to go scam" & you will find plenty. Even the "free" holiday was not free, it is "complimentary," meaning you've to pay more than the tickets are worth in fees. Save ur time, recycle the postcard.

To help quit letter scam just like this, report ur con here: https://postalinspectors. uspis. gov/forms/MailFraudComplaint. aspxThe no. of reports consumer targets (that's us) file means the investigation & prosecution of these fraudsters was more likely. These criminals want to be shut down.
