soon as picked up, there was no one at the other end. when you put the phone down & ring the no. back, you get a automated welcome, subsequently a request for ur acct# or Social security number.

Earlier, we stated we just turned the fax machine on soon as we get rings where noone answers. we have person calling ID; yet, I will reply 800 no.s in case these people are a firm with whom i have ordered merchandise. This no. was legit. this was the bank Barclays. these people were really polite, helpful, & the ring pertained to some thing important.

& yes as weird as this was soon as you ring 'em back the just say " you've reached "customer service", with no firm name (they have to believe the public was stupid) Please enter you account no. OR ur SOCIAL SECURITY no., this was at that point most people put the phone down thinking it is a con. . YES, these people are STUPID.

This firm rings us daily sometimes two times a day. we dont reply cos we recognise this was a telemarketer. our no. was unlisted & on the national do not ring directory therefore this firm was breaking the law soon as these people ring our no.

these people ring us numerous times daily & sometimes more on other weeks. we do not reply this cos we recognise these people are telemarketers! we often let our reply machine get this, & of course these people never ever pass on a msg. we rang the no. back & a recorded message wants us to enter account no. or SS#. our Calling-ID states "unavailable" & just the no. . really irritating to deal with these type of calls!
